Privacy policy
This notice explains, in plain English, what happens to the personal data you share with us through this website, and the choices you have. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

Who we are
This website is run by White and Black Entertainment Private Limited (“White and Black”, “we”, “us”), a production house based in Mumbai and part of SP Group of Companies. For anything in this notice, write to [email protected].
What we collect
We collect only what you type into the enquiry form:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- the type of project and, if you choose to give them, a timeline, a budget band and a link to a script, deck or demo;
- your message.
Our server adds the date and time you sent the form. Like most websites, our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to run the site and protect it from abuse.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal data, so please don’t include it in your message. We don’t use analytics, advertising trackers or social-media pixels on this site.
Why we collect it
To read your enquiry, reply to it and talk to you about the project you asked about. That is the only purpose. We don’t use your details for marketing and we don’t add you to a mailing list. By sending the form, you consent to this use, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to reply to you and to handle any project that follows from it. After that, we delete it.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own purposes. Your enquiry reaches our inbox through our website host and email provider, who handle it only to deliver and store it for us. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.
Cookies, storage and embedded videos
- No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies while you browse.
- When you send the form, our server sets one short-lived session cookie that stops the same form being sent again within a minute. It holds no personal data and ends when you close your browser.
- Motion preference. If you press “Pause motion” on the home page, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage. It never leaves your device.
- YouTube videos load only when you press play. Until then, the posters you see are our own images, and nothing on this site connects to YouTube or Google. Once you press play, the video is served by YouTube (Google): in its privacy-enhanced mode on desktop browsers, and through YouTube’s standard player on phones, tablets and Safari, which need it for the video to start. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
- Links to Instagram and YouTube take you to those services, where their own policies apply.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to [email protected] and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form is protected against automated spam, and access to the inbox is limited to the people who answer enquiries. No way of sending data over the internet is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or financial details through the form.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
